Julidans - Fantasie Minor - Marco da Silva Ferreira

Choreographer Marco da Silva Ferreira, who comes from the club scene, is a master at mixing genres. In the outdoor location performance 'Fantasie Minor' he contrasts the romantic sounds of Schubert's four-hand piano piece with the four feet of two hip-hop dancers, trained in battles and freestyle. A story unfolds that far transcends the culture clash.

Julidans - Cirkel Solo's - Dalton Jansen & Sherise Strang

Especially for the first edition of Dansdagen Haarlem last April, young choreographers with various dance styles each created a 'circle solo': a choreography danced by one dancer within an illuminated circle. This resulted in an intense and intimate dance diptych in which the audience sits in a circle around the dancer. Due to great success, it can now also be seen during Julidans.
