RNI Registrations available again at IN Amsterdam

IN Amsterdam reintroduces the RNI registrations service at the helpdesk for internationals and employers.

IN Amsterdam is pleased to once again offer RNI registrations at the IN Amsterdam office.

To make an appointment, simply email welcome@amsterdam.nl, clearly stating 'RNI appointment' as the purpose. You can also schedule appointments by contacting our office via phone (+31 (0)20 254 7999 (from 09:15 to 16:30). Please note that internationals need to be present during this appointment.

IN Amsterdam provides streamlined immigration and municipal registration services. The city registrations include collecting data for the Personal Records Database (BRP) and issuing citizen service number (burgerservicenummer, BSN) during appointments for new residents.

The Non-residents Records Database (RNI) is a part of the Personal Records Database (BRP). It maintains records of individuals who do not reside in the Netherlands, no longer reside in the Netherlands, or stay in the Netherlands for less than four months. Internationals staying for four months or less can now register in the RNI and obtain a BSN at one of the city offices and since June 2023 at IN Amsterdam one-stop-shop.

If you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact IN Amsterdam..
