During the multi-day workshop or one-on-one session, EURES trainers will provide valuable, practical assistance. This includes reviews of CVs and motivation letters, guidance on networking and navigating the Dutch labour market and culture, and personalised tips for job searching and career development.

Who can apply: spouses/partners (international residents holding a residence permit as partners of highly skilled migrants, researchers, entrepreneurs, or EU citizens) residing in the Amsterdam Area.

One-hour personal career consultation

You will be asked to provide the following information: your name, date of birth, city of residence (within the Amsterdam Area), your CV, and to confirm that you have a permit that allows you to work in the Netherlands (geldige tewerkstellingsvergunning voor Nederland).

Multi-day workshop

About EURES: Supporting labour mobility in the EU 

EURES is a cooperation network designed to facilitate the free movement of workers within the EU-27 countries plus Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The EURES network provides its services through its European Job Mobility Portal and through a network of around 1,000 EURES advisers that are in daily contact with jobseekers and employers across Europe.

They support employers and jobseekers that wish to recruit or work in another European country under fair conditions, offering recruitment and placement services and providing information and advice in support of labour mobility. CVs and vacancies are published on the portal so that jobseekers can be matched up with available positions.
