Babak Maddah
Hailing from southern Iran, where influences from the African world and Persian/Arab/South India can be heard, Babak Maddah shows on his CD Destiny, released last year, how that combination works out: a balanced sound in which influences from different traditions and jazz come together organically.
Babak Maddah graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and played with various musicians, such as Ibrahim Maalouf and Brice Wassy.
Afterwards, the bar on the 6th floor will open, and you can buy Babak's CD and have it signed.
