Join SEWF23 week (9-13 October) in Amsterdam

The Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) is a global annual flagship event that brings together social entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, academics and other impact-led professionals to strengthen impact entrepreneurship and encourage systemic change.

This year, the main event takes place in Amsterdam Noord and online and is co-hosted by Amsterdam Impact, the City of Amsterdam’s impact entrepreneurship initiative, and Social Enterprise NL.

Here’s what you can look forward to during SEWF23 week:

10 October: SEWF Fringe Day (Amsterdam)

SEWF Fringe Day is your opportunity to discover and engage more with purpose-driven businesses and the global social enterprise community during the SEWF23 Week. Expect workshops, roundtables, networking events, and more on topics ranging from investment to social procurement, research, and education. Please note that Fringe Day hosts are responsible for organisation, venue logistics and ticketing. Explore all fringe events.

11-12 October: SEWF23 (Amsterdam Noord and online)

Welcome to SEWF23 week’s main event: a unique opportunity to connect in person or online with thousands of impact entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and other professionals and explore five essential themes: climate solutions, planetary boundaries, migration, fairness for all and a new economy.

From increasing women’s access to financial opportunities in Nigeria to ensuring the well-being of Indigenous people in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and creating circular economy solutions in the Netherlands, expect to get inspired by entrepreneurs and experts addressing a broad range of societal and environmental issues.

The physical event takes place at Kromhouthal, a venue with decades of history as a manufacturing hall for ship engines. Register now.

13 October: Social enterprise tours (various locations in the Netherlands)

Immerse yourself in the exciting world of local social enterprises in Amsterdam and other Dutch cities, including Rotterdam, The Hague and Apeldoorn. Uncover the inspiring stories of social enterprise founders and meet other impact-minded professionals from a broad range of impact areas, including sustainable food, circular fashion, and diversity and inclusion.
