Welcome International Newcomers: information & networking

Moving to a new country is already a big undertaking. IN Amsterdam is here to help you settle in smoothly. The Welcome International Newcomers event invites newcomers and their spouses or partners to an informative seminar covering topics like adjusting to a new country, the in's and out's of mortgages, professional development, dental care, learning the language, and more.

There will be a series of short presentations and time to ask questions afterwards. It's also a great opportunity to network with other internationals. The event is hosted by IN Amsterdam.

UvA Talen specialises in personalised, tailor-made courses in Dutch, English and various other languages. Choose from individual courses, an intense full-time programme, or a group setting. Learn at your own pace and preference: classes can be in-person, online or at your company. Courses range from beginners to specialised courses focusing on corporate language use or fluency skills.

ACCESS offers free personalised English information to internationals arriving in the Netherlands. They offer help on topics such as relocating and settling in, healthcare, career and starting a business, housing, family affairs and education.
