This workshop is for employed and self-employed women, women entering or reentering the workforce after a time out or a career break. The workshop is for those ready to make a change and are in a transition phase or anticipate a shift ahead and want to equip themselves with the tools and confidence to communicate their career story successfully.
Once you’ve crafted your personal story, it might come to life on your LinkedIn profile, your website, or as an elevator pitch. You will be able to authentically communicate your career story at the end of the workshop.
The workshop is a blend of both practical experiences and self-reflection. You’ll work through prompts and exercises that will help you uncover some of your unique strengths, skills an areas of expertise.
This will be a safe place and an intimate group to work on your career story together. Set yourself up for success in 2024 by investing in your career story.

Lisa Thompson is the founder of Her Career Space. In a professional landscape where equity remains paramount, she’s passionate about a workforce that embraces diversity at every career stage. With over two decades of experience and a corporate background she started her entrepreneurial journey in 2019. More recently she founded her second concept, Her Career Space as a way to support and empower women in their career journeys and create a more equitable workforce. Research from McKinsey and LeanIn.org highlights women's challenges, with fewer promotions, executive roles, and investment in female-owned businesses. Working together, we can close that gap, empower each other and claim the space women deserve.
