Our venue uses an innovative hot-and-cold water system, eliminating the need for gas or traditional air conditioning. Accessibility

The Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ is designed to be fully accessible, ensuring every guest feels welcome. The venue is located above the Piet Heingarage, which offers space for over 400 cars and provides direct elevator access to all floors, including the Entreehal with its wheelchair-accessible restroom.

Our spaces feature open layouts, making them easy to navigate for guests using mobility aids. The Grote Zaal includes a Sennheiser infra-red listening system, compatible with hearing aids, ensuring an inclusive experience for all attendees.

Reaching the Muziekgebouw is simple. From Amsterdam Central Station, it’s a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute ride on tram 26, which stops right in front of the venue.
