Historic yet modern event venue nearby Amsterdam

The Hembrug area is a former ammunition factory dating back to 1897 and located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Defence Line of Amsterdam. But although the buildings of Taets are part of this industrial area, the venue spaces are equipped with all modern conveniences, and the area continues to build up its reputation as a top-notch location for the creative industry. 

We accommodate for small groups of 10 visitors, as well as for congresses, exhibitions or festivals up to 12.500 visitors, covering the whole 20.000 m2 terrain.  The spacious and historical surroundings accommodate both small and large events. Book the Black Box for a large-scale event accommodating up to 4,000 guests, or gather in a more intimate setting in the Gallery with a maximum of 120 guests. A mere ten-minute drive from Amsterdam's city centre and 15-minute drive from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the location of the venue is extremely convenient; the large parking area is free of charge.

Building 41, has an outside elevator to reach the second floor, ground floor is equipped with a wheelchair accessible toilet.

Building 43 has no elevator, ground floor is equipped with a wheelchair accessible toilet.
