How to join the Partnership Programme

The IN Amsterdam Partnership Programme was created to connect businesses with the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area’s international community they serve. As an official IN Amsterdam partner, your organisation is marked out as a trusted service provider for English-speaking residents.

About the Partnership Programme

The Partnership Programme allows IN Amsterdam to refer internationals to a reliable network of service providers that support the international community. From relocation agencies, utilities, and recruitment through banking, insurance, tax, and financial advisers all the way to childcare, education consultants, and language courses, IN Amsterdam partners help internationals with all parts of life in the Amsterdam Area. This is particularly useful just prior to a newcomer’s arrival and within their first three months in the Netherlands. 

A referral to an IN Amsterdam partner works like a personal recommendation and is just as valuable.

Membership benefits

Official IN Amsterdam partners enjoy the following benefits:

  • Your company’s name, logo and URL are featured in the IN Amsterdam booklet My First Month, which is given to all visitors to the IN Amsterdam office (between 30 and 70 per day)
  • Your company has a partner profile page on our website, including contact details, logo and a short description of your services
  • You may refer to yourself as an ‘IN Amsterdam partner’ in company marketing and communications (the IN Amsterdam partner logo will be provided)
  • The company has the exclusive right to have its English-language marketing materials and brochures displayed at the IN Amsterdam office
  • You can place a gift or a voucher in the IN Amsterdam Welcome Bag, which is handed out to visitors to the IN Amsterdam office
  • Your company may be invited to participate in events organised by IN Amsterdam. (Please note that we cannot guarantee participation for all partners.)
  • We can feature your company’s special offer, deal or event in our newsletter
  • You will receive invitations to IN Amsterdam networking events

Membership requirements

In order to apply as a partner, your company or organisation must meet certain criteria. Applicants should:

  • have all relevant company information available in English (including website, brochures, forms and lists of services)
  • have a minimum of one year’s experience in the international market
  • agree to cooperate with our client monitoring project, as part of which we will request feedback from internationals on your services (information will not be made public)
  • have a standard company procedure in place for handling customer/client complaints
  • have recent and verifiable references from a minimum of two international clients and two international companies
  • be a member of the relevant sector’s professional association (where applicable)
  • have an office in the Netherlands
  • agree to the membership terms and conditions, which will be provided to all applicants

Membership fees 2024

  • One-year membership (1 January to 31 December): €1,200 (€1,452 incl. VAT)
  • Six-month membership (1 July to 31 December): €600 (€726 incl. VAT)
  • There is no membership fee for non-profit organisations

Additional marketing opportunities

We also offer our partners the opportunity to publish a partner article about their field of expertise in the Live/Work/Study section of our website. This additional offer is exclusively available to partners and can be requested at any time throughout the year.

Publishing an article costs €500 excl. VAT. IN Amsterdam covers research to suggest a relevant topic within the relevant field of expertise, copywriting, two rounds of editing and publication in the dedicated Live/Work/Study section for two years.
