Fantastic news from ARTIS. On Friday afternoon, August 16, a healthy baby giraffe was born. The birth went smoothly, and within two hours, the calf was standing and nursing from its mother. The ARTIS team is relieved and happy. The birth is great news for the European breeding program for this endangered species.
