The roof of NEMO

A city square with a view over the city: that is what NEMO architect Renzo Piano had in mind with his design. And he has succeeded: NEMO Science Museum has the largest roof terrace in Amsterdam where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the historic city center at 22 meters above sea level. There is a café and plenty of space to sit quietly with a snack and a drink. There is a watercourse for children in the summer.

Opening hours and roof access

The roof is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entrance is free, via the stairs on the east side of the museum.
