On the night of Wednesday, October 16, a jaguar cub was born in ARTIS Zoo. While the mother stays watchful nearby, he is exploring the outdoor enclosure. Will you come by to take a look soon?

On Friday afternoon, August 16, a healthy baby giraffe was born. The birth went smoothly, and within two hours, the calf was standing and nursing from its mother. The ARTIS team is relieved and happy. The birth is great news for the European breeding program for this endangered species.
