Art and coffee in Amsterdam

There is no shortage of cafés in Amsterdam, and the best of them seamlessly blend art, culture, and culinary delights. Don't miss these micro creative hubs showcasing art and photography by local artists, perfect for a weekend or afternoon stroll.

No Man’s Art Gallery

Emphasising its international program, this contemporary art gallery showcases the work of revolving artists, with a new exhibition every few months. Annually, it establishes temporary galleries in various countries, such as Mexico City, Tehran, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Cape Town, whilst maintaining two permanent spaces in Amsterdam. One of these spaces includes 'de bar,' open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy delicious plates and bites on the terrace before delving into the rotating exhibitions in the back room.

Mediamatic's waterside bar and plant-based restaurant welcome guests daily, offering lunches, cakes, snacks, and drinks. The exhibitions here explore the boundaries between art, science and biotech and, on occasion, seamlessly blend with the dining area. During the warmer seasons, the Serres Séparées, small intimate greenhouses, create a private dining experience for couples.
