OBA Bijlmerplein
OBA Bijlmer in Amsterdam Southeast offers an extensive collection of books, DVDs, newspapers and magazines. You can enjoy a snack and drink in the spacious reading café with its beautiful courtyard garden.
Facilities and activities
The collection pays extra attention to books about Surinam and the Antilles. There is a BookStart corner for the little ones, quiet study areas, a Storytelling Wall and practice computers with internet. OBA members use the internet free of charge for half an hour. Non-members pay € 1 per 30 minutes. The library regularly organizes changing exhibitions. You will also find Imagine IC in this location .
Dutch practice hours
There are four practice computers with learning programs on the NL-plein. Every Friday from 13:00 to 16:00 there is a practice consultation hour for the Dutch language. For more information and the agenda, visit the website.
