Groengebied-Amstelland
Groengebied-Amstelland is a large recreational and nature area located between Amstelveen and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. Head here to hike, bike, boat, or even skate while enjoying gorgeous scenery.
Fun in the sun
The area also offers beaches, fields for picnics, playgrounds and places to sunbathe. During the summer months, three ferries carry visitors between Groengebied-Amstelland's various points. There's also Golfbaan De Hoge Dijk. This facility offers both a championship golf course with 18 holes and a shorter, 9-hole `practice' course.
