Kas Keerweer
Kas Keerweer is a green place for the neighbourhood. The greenhouse belongs to the municipality and is managed by the Kas Keerweer Foundation, which is, in turn, run by volunteers. Objectives of the Foundation: to manage the Greenhouse and to organise and facilitate neighbourhood activities that contribute to cohesion and promote a love for plants, gardening and the planet. The Kas is a remnant from the time when that part of De Baarsjes was full of market gardens.
