Buiksloterkerk
The attractive Buiksloterkerk is hidden behind the picturesque houses on the Buiksloterdijk, part of the old Waterlandse Zeedijk. The attractive interior is decorated with a beautiful pulpit and a special organ by the famous Amsterdam organ builder H. ter Hart. Concerts, theater performances and various social events are organized in the Buiksloterkerk. The church is also available for rental.
Cultural and social
Thanks to the efforts of the Buiksloterkerk Foundation, the Buiksloterkerk was completely restored to its former glory in 1995. Since then, the church has been an attractive meeting place and stage for culture in Amsterdam North.
