Beurs van Berlage guided tour

Making a statement As a predecessor to the architectural style known as "Amsterdam School", the building is a testament to the artisans who built it. According to Berlage, the 9 million in bricks were meant to represent the individual, and the resulting building represented society. For a building used by stockbrokers, it’s ironic that most of the artwork warns against capitalism. On show The Beurs is now often used for events, concerts, exhibitions and conferences. Guided tours can be arranged in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese by request.
