Hidden Gems Tour
Amsterdam’s former Jewish neighborhood and graceful Plantage are full of historical treasures – sometimes literally! Follow the Dutch tradition of rijsttafel and sample an assortment of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Jewish and women’s history. This small-group tour is led by storytellers and Dutch history obsessives. It takes you off the beaten path to sites that surprise Amsterdammers and guests alike. See a different side of Amsterdam’s history and neighborhoods.
The roughly two-hour walk starts at the National Opera & Ballet and ends in front of the H’ART Museum (formerly the Hermitage Museum).
Wear good walking shoes and dress for that typical Dutch weather. The public tours are in English.
