Caf�� Diep on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal does not have a minimalist decor or fingerfood.
Nevertheless, for years this café has had an irresistible attraction for the
trend-setting Amsterdammers whether it’s the stylish designer types or
counterculture artists. It’s rather dark and quaint; a sort of contemporary
‘brown café’. The bar staff and DJs supply the music: always something unusual
ranging from Depeche Mode to Frank Sinatra.
