De IJsmakerij’s wares are all organic and fresh, as well as free of artificial flavouring and colouring. What’s more, their Italian ice cream maker runs on solar power! Flavourwise, De IJsmakerij has crazy stuff on offer (chocolate with salted caramel and rosemary and apple-fennel sorbet both sound pretty interesting) but doesn’t forget about the trusty classics such as vanilla or strawberry.

De IJsmakerij’s shop is called ’t IJswinkeltje; their ice cream is also available on Noordermarkt on Saturdays and at Sterk (De Clercqstraat 1-9).
