Journeys to a home
Visit the photo exhibition Journeys to a home in Betondorp. The exhibition shows the experiences of five new Amsterdam residents who have ended up in Amsterdam Oost in recent years. The photos were taken by internationally known photographer Cesar Dezfuli. Location: The Green Lotus, Brink 28, Amsterdam.
A glimpse into the life of one of five new Amsterdam residents
The work is presented in several temporary empty homes of the Eigen Haard housing association and a 100-year-old school to underline the warmth of a home feeling.
At each exhibition location, you will find an individual atmosphere carefully composed to evoke a feeling of 'home' for the project participants. Each location is personal and offers a glimpse into the life of one of these five new Amsterdammers.
