Film festival for outdoor enthusiasts at Monk bouldergym Amsterdam

Film festival Reel Rock

Film festival Reel Rock tours the world for its 19th edition, showcasing international climbing and bouldering films. On Saturday evening, April 5th, Reel Rock will make a stop at Monk bouldergym Amsterdam. 

Reel Rock's selection consists of three short films. The Cobra & The Heart is about the tumultous life of Didier Berthod and his legendary bouldering project called Cobra Crack in Squamish, Canada, Riders On The Storm tells the story of an 18-day expedition on the Torre Central in Patagonia, and Death Of Villains follows Kai Lightner as he attempts his first ascent of a 9a+ (5.15) in Utah, USA. These stories are packed with action, drama, and a touch of romance.

Monk organises two screenings: one at 18:00h and one at 21:00h. The films are in English with Dutch subtitles. There's popcorn and nachos, as well as drinks by Walhalla and Poesiat & Kater.

In the mood for a movie night filled with adrenaline? Tickets to the Reel Rock screening at Monk bouldergym Amsterdam are available to everyone. You can choose between a film ticket or a combo ticket that includes climbing. Monk members can join for free.
