After a 5-year COVID-induced sabbatical, the Golden Gnomes are awake and battle-ready again. The Golden Gnome Awards (GKA) were founded in 1995 as a counterbalance to the increasingly serious and commercial dance scene. With a healthy dose of mischief and anarchy – and always with a wink – the event got a room filled with the crème de la crème of the nightlife scene moving. Big names have received one of these little golden men over the years, including Richie Hawtin, David Guetta, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, DJVT, Underworld, Awakenings and Berghain.

This year, in honor of the 30th anniversary, everyone will first get a day to recover from the King's Day celebrations before the Kabouter chaos breaks loose again. The presentation of the awards is in the safe hands of MC Buttslammer, with music by Jack Undercover, stunning visuals by Vision Impossible and the infamous Red Carpet Interviews with the razor-sharp tongue of Dooske. Bring a bag of guilders for the Vrijmarkt Veiling, a warm applause for the nominees and a bucket full of respect for the winners. Dress code: orange glitter gold gala!
