Free Walk-in Activity: Drawing with Light (6+)

Follow the light to the studio and join the free walk-in activity on Saturday, May 3, between 13:30 and 16:00. Build your own flashlight and use it to create light drawings on the big screen.

Filmmagie: Create Your Own Soundtrack (6+)

After watching short films from the collection, things get delightfully loud in the cinema. What does fire sound like? Or a rollercoaster? Together with a museum guide, you'll use quirky objects to create sound effects for a film scene.

Lampje – de film (9+)

A must-see for fans of Lampje: watch the special film adaptation of Annet Schaap’s beloved book on the big screen. Also showing in Eye: Bouwdorp by the same director, Margien Rogaar — a family film about how your best friend can suddenly become your biggest rival. Both films are exclusively screening at Eye, so book your tickets in advance.

Workshops: Create Your Own Kaleidoscope or Stereoscope (6+)

Beads, glitter, light, and spin! Dive into a world of shapes and colors and craft your own kaleidoscope to project magical light patterns. Finished yours? Try it out on the big screen!

In the stereoscope workshop, you��ll learn how we see in 3D and make cool photos of yourself and your surroundings. Best part? You’ll build your own stereoscope to view your photos in 3D!

Discovery route: Mission Super Eyes + Free Walk-in Activity (4+)

Join the heroes on a fun mission to discover your eyes’ superpowers. The museum route is free for visitors up to age 17 and free for everyone on April 30. Stop by on April 30 between 13:30–16:00 to create your own animated film at the free walk-in activity, guided by a hero from Mission Super Eyes.

Watch beautiful short films and then play in a landscape of light.

Interactive Exhibition: What is Film?

Learn about the history of film, make a wacky clip in front of a green screen, or relax in a film pod. Everything is part of the interactive exhibition What is Film? Free for visitors up to 17, and free for everyone on April 30.
