Night of the Dead NDSM

'According to Celtic lore, during the Night of the Dead all souls return to Earth to visit their loved ones. It is up to us, mortals, to call upon them, to let them know where we are, so that from dawn onwards we will be united, for one day, during the Day of the Dead.'

From sunset to midnight, the audience is lovingly accompanied with appropriate Mourning Sounds, Light in the Darkness, Mourning Food and Comfort Drink, surrounded by Comfort Art.

The ferryman takes you across to light a candle, while around you the water comes to life, looming images light up the Night and the Whispering Cloud mumbles the names of the dead, more and more. Memorial candle, Coin for the Ferryman, Mourning food, Comfort drink and are available on site.

The sad Night of the Dead is the ritual opening of NDSM XPO XVI SOMETHING WITH... PARADISE . It forms a diptych with the joyful Day of the Dead during the Museum Night on November 2, which allows us to embrace life with death.
