Royal Concertgebouw Competition 2024 - Finale

Final

The finalists are true sky stormers that we will hear much from later. Former finalists often perform throughout the Netherlands after the competition. Some former winners include recorder player Lucie Horsch, pianist Nikola Meeuwsen and double bassist and singer Jala Heywood. The young finalists all receive a great masterclass from a well-known musician. The winner may also perform during the lunch concert in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw and at the Grachtenfestival. He or she also wins €1000 for musical development and the trophy.

Incentive prize

Before the final, the Encouragement Prize will be awarded to one of the participants experiencing exceptional musical development. This winner may have just started making music, have a unique story or show enormous creativity in musicality. With this, we want to encourage children to have fun and not stop developing! The winner of this incentive prize will be announced at the end of May.
