Warming Up

Warming Up is a collaboration between Warm Hearts Sauna and West Beach Film Festival. At this event there is a free sauna (with swimwear), music, workshops, food and drinks. The event is free and everyone is welcome. It will take place at the Buurtwerkplaats, at President Allendelaan 1 on Sunday, April 21. It starts at 4:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.

Free use of the sauna

West Beach Film festival is a film festival in Amsterdam located at the Sloterplas in Amsterdam Nieuw-West and will take place in September 2024. Prior to this festival they organize the Warming Up event, in collaboration with Warm Hearts Sauna. They build the first floating sauna. The concept of this sauna is that people can enter for free if they do a good deed for the environment or for someone else. The goal is to honor the city by creating stories about good deeds by Amsterdammers for Amsterdammers. It is mainly intended to combat loneliness, help people escape their isolation and support their physical and mental health.
