Galerie Lieve Hemel has been involved with contemporary realism from its foundation until now, mainly by Dutch artists, whereby personal preference was and is decisive for the selection of artists. In addition to art, contemporary silver can also be seen.
Collection
The collection of Galerie Lieve Hemel covers two areas: the best of contemporary Dutch Realism in painting (still lifes and a more rational form of surrealism and magical realism) and contemporary silver, with a preference for the sculptural aspect. The personal preference of owner Koen Nieuwendijk is a common thread throughout the more than 3 decades long history of this gallery.
During exhibitions the gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday, otherwise by appointment. Opening hours may vary, check the website for current information.
