Dudok Architecture Center

The town hall in Hilversum (1931) is the highlight of Willem Marinus Dudok's work. Its application of the horizontal facade line and cubist volumes makes it a striking building. The interior is just as impressive as the exterior. A beautiful layout of space, form, colour and material. The Dudok Architecture Centre (DAC) is located in this now world-famous town hall, where the life and work of Dudok are central. The iconic exhibition in the DAC is a tribute to Dudok, who entered the service of the municipality of Hilversum on 1 July 1915. A team of guides from the DAC regularly provides guided tours of the town hall and of buildings by Dudok in Hilversum.
