Stars of the stage Haarlem’s Toneelschuur has been a shining light of contemporary Dutch theatre, dance and film for more than 25 years while the superb programming at Poppodium Patronaat has assured it of place as one of the top music venues in the country. Head to the Philharmonie for classical concerts and don’t miss the Stadsschouwburg Haarlem for an evening of theatre or De Lichtfabriek for dance and cultural events. The city is also home to an enormous range of clubs and bars, each with their own special atmosphere.
