Movements of Bach: Dance Dialogue is a vibrant performance inspired by Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1. The six movements of the suite are brought to life by dancers who each embody a unique character, shaped by the rhythmic and emotional nuances of Bach’s music, weaving improvisation, dance and theatre into an intense, ever-evolving performance in the Nassaukerk.

Movements of Bach: Dance Dialogue is a vibrant performance inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1. Featuring cellist Giorgos Kotsiolis and dancers Fernando Oliveira, Lela Di Costanzo, Pedro Afonso Machado, Rebecca Lillich-Kr��ger, and Sofia Garcia Miramon, the six movements of the suite are brought to life. In this unique interpretation, each dancer embodies a distinct character shaped by the emotional and rhythmic nuances of Bach's music. The project weaves together improvisation, dance, and theater into a raw, ever-evolving performance where spontaneity and passion take center stage.
