DJ L-dopa, or Pieter Kolijn, started his DJ career more than 30 years ago in student clubs in Leiden. Soon, he traveled throughout the country and played at various festivals. He formed the duo Sabotage Sound Surfers with DJ Chaos, which organized club nights such as Sabotage, Knockout, and Drum & Bassline.

L-dopa's taste in music is hard to pin down. Although he is known for his jungle drum & bass, he also plays pop, rock, soul, funk, hip-hop, reggae, dancehall and much more. He likes experimenting with new styles, so no two evenings are the same.
