TEKLIFE PARTY AMSTERDAM

In an almost cult-like manner, the word 'Teklife' grew into a concept in the international dance community. The collective and label founded by a close-knit group of friends stood at the cradle of Footwork (aka Chicago Juke) with pioneers DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn. The genre that took shape as an accelerated version of Ghetto house in the late '90s and early '00s, became big in the streets of Chicago, and later in the rest of the world.
