The world's most famous elephant comes to life musically

The elephant Babar is one of the most famous children's book characters ever. The books by Jean de Brunhoff conquered children's hearts all over the world. Mylo Freeman has written about sixty children's books, including her series about the dark princess Arabella. The ten-member Ensemble SeaSession performs two French masterpieces from the previous century in a sparkling new version. With the newly composed African intermezzos by Richard Rijnvos, a magical world is created in which all the senses are addressed.

Make your own animal mask

In African mythology, masks have magical powers, including animal masks. If you put on an animal mask, there is no difference between human and animal. Before the concert, you can paint or decorate a mask of a hyena, crocodile, chameleon, buffalo, monkey or elephant. We will make a beautiful exhibition of all the masks that you can admire afterwards. Of course, you can take your mask home with you afterwards. There will also be free coloring pages to take home afterwards, designed by Sjeng Schupp.
