A young woman sits in a strange room, typing a letter to an unnamed recipient. Her words shoot across the screen, her voice floating in an empty space. She sings out loud what she cannot type and types what she cannot sing, always searching for the right angle. What emerges is a cry into the void, an attempt to strike the right chord, a struggle with words.

Voice, music and lyrics
This musical theatre piece is a continuation of a correspondence between a present and an absent body. The desire to be able to transmit over great distances becomes an act of willpower, an adrenaline-fuelled game that blurs the boundary between what is real and what is imaginary.
i hope this finds you well uses voice, music and written text to delve into loss, (self)deception and how far we are willing to go for meaning when confronted with absence.
I hope this finds you well was previously shown during Amsterdam Fringe 2024.
