Prophet Song
In Paul Lynch's award-winning novel Prophet Song, Ireland slowly turns into a tyrannical state. One evening, Eilish Stack, a mother and scientist, answers the door to find the secret police looking for her husband. It's the beginning of a nightmarish attempt to keep her family together in a society that's growing more violent by the minute.
