A free accessible mobile concert hall in the Bimhuis for the young listeners. The Jazz Express is at the door with Groove Beest! Walk into the mobile concert hall of the Princess Christina Competition in collaboration with New Amsterdam Jazz and let yourself be carried away in the groove of New Orleans. Here plays Jetse de Jong, a magician on the keys, obsessed with the blues.

Groove Beast Mini Concert
When Jetse plays the piano, it sounds like he was born on the other side of the ocean, in the music city of New Orleans. It's like he fell into a big soup pot of gumbo as a child and never stopped making music. In this interactive Groove Beast mini-concert, Jetse, together with Kian, Claus and Elmer, will show which rhythms and songs are part of New Orleans. Especially for this concert, Katja Kuipers, prize winner of the Princess Christina Jazz Competition, will sing along. She is only 15 but already sings the stars from the sky!
Location: under the Bimhuis, next to the swings.
