With 'Versus', Vincent van der Valk and Casper Vandeputte join forces again after their theatre hit 'Immens'. This time, it was with Anthony Fiumara, Cello Octet Amsterdam, and top acting talent Ntianu Stuger. 'Versus' promises to be a musically overwhelming and intoxicating journey through our greatest desires and fears about how we interact with each other. Two actors and eight cellists do everything they can to fight out the great primal human conflict, me versus the other, once and for all. The performance can be seen in Frascati.

Why do people who can delight the masses always emerge? What moves the group of people who fall for the appearance, vision and promises of a Great Leader? And is that covenant doomed to bring out the worst in people, or is it our only salvation?

In Versus, we attend the long-awaited interview with a popular media figure rumoured to have built a large following and could also become politically active. The country's most prominent journalist puts this charmer to the test in front of a live audience. She tries to reveal his true intentions, to show who is hidden behind the mask of this natural leader. But to achieve that, she will have to rise above herself. As their battle intensifies, the interview turns into the continuation of an age-old titanic struggle for public favour, truth and, ultimately, power.
