Museum JAN

Museum JAN is a museum of visual arts and design with a special focus on glass art. The museum’s own collection consists of unique glass objects assembled by founder Jan van der Togt. He collected international top art, based on what fascinated him aesthetically. In addition to this characterful collection, Museum JAN offers a wide and appealing exhibition program.

H'ART Museum

H’ART Museum is an art museum where famous works of art and stories from around the world are brought together in one-of-a-kind exhibitions. Our exhibitions are always temporarily on show but will stay with you forever. The museum is in a historical landmark, at the heart of the Dutch capital. Frans Hals Museum (Groot Heiligland)

The Frans Hals Museum is Haarlem’s museum of fine arts. It houses the largest collection of Frans Hals paintings in the world, as well as works by other famous artists from Haarlem such as Judith Leyster, Cornelis van Haarlem and Jacob van Ruisdael. You’ll also discover an extensive collection of art from 1880 to the present day, including works by Isaac Israëls, Charley Toorop and Dana Lixenberg.

Volendams Museum

The Volendams Museum is a museum located in the village of Volendam, known for its traditional costumes and fishing culture. The Museum focuses on preserving and exhibiting the rich history and traditions of Volendam. Visitors can take a look at the old fishermen houses, where they can experience what life used to be like. Furthermore, there is of course the famous cigar band house. There are fun treasure hunts and a craft corner for children

Waalse Kerk (Wallonian Church)

The Waalse Kerk has been a hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam since 1586. Thanks to its beautiful acoustics and the special Müller organ, the Waalse Kerk has grown into an atmospheric and intimate cultural stage of more than local significance since the 1970s. French-language church services have been held here for 450 years and you can still visit the church service every Sunday morning. In addition, the unique, atmospheric spaces in and around the church are rented out for gatherings ranging from business to private, from mourning to weddings and from trade fairs to meetings.

ElliottHalls is passionate about photography. Throughout the year they hold extensive exhibitions showcasing the work of historical and contemporary photographers. Their roster of artists includes internationally renowned names whose work is regularly featured in major museums and corporate collections. The gallery also has a Print Room where, by appointment, clients, photography experts and enthusiasts can browse their collection.

The Edam Museum

The Edam Museum is located in two historic buildings on the Damplein in Edam: the town hall and a former merchant’s home dating from 1540.

The Purmerends Museum

The Purmerends Museum was created in 1942 and since 1955 it has been housed in the former town hall on the Kaasmarkt. This characteristic building was restored and adapted to a new museum in 1987. The Purmerends Museum has a varied collection relating to the town and the region. In addition to items for everyday use the collection comprises old prints, illustrations, maps and paintings, implements (including those used in the dairy industry), horse-leighs and pottery.

Flower Art Museum

The Flower Art Museum focuses on the representation of flowers, plants and nature in contemporary art. Since July 2018, the museum has been located in the former water cellar of Aalsmeer, right opposite the monumental water tower on the Westeinderplassen. With an interior space of 1,000 square meters and a spacious sculpture garden on the roof, there is a lot to see.

During a large-scale renovation of the monumental Burgerweeshuis, the Amsterdam Museum will find its temporary home here. With a completely new range of exhibitions, public programmes and children's activities. Here, the Amsterdam Museum will display an entirely new collection presentation that, besides the traditional history of Amsterdam, also offers plenty of space for dissenting voices and lesser-known and more recent histories of the city.

Eye Filmmuseum

The striking architecture of the Eye Filmmuseum made it quickly become one of Amsterdam’s modern icons. Situated on the northern bank of the River IJ, just opposite Central Station, this cinema, film museum, café/restaurant and cutting-edge event location is a must-see. Eye Filmmuseum is free to visit with the I amsterdam City Card, but for some of the exhibitions there is an additional surcharge.
