It is impossible to imagine our daily lives without dance, thanks in part to the thousands of dance videos that are uploaded daily on TikTok. The fact that the dance community is growing and finding Amsterdam can also be seen in the recurring annual festival Summer Dance Forever. The festival annually attracts more than 20 thousand dancers and visitors from all over the world. They can enjoy a broad program in Paradiso, Melkweg, International Theater Amsterdam, DeLaMar, Academy for Theater & Dance and Foundation.

In August, Amsterdam’s largest open-air cinema returns to the atmospheric courtyard of the H’ART Museum for the seventh time. For three weeks, you can enjoy a selection of film classics with an art film every Monday! Prior to each film, there will be the legendary film quiz and a short introduction to the film.

Red Light Jazz is a music festival for young and old, for Amsterdam residents and non-Amsterdam residents who can enjoy jazz performances for three days, from morning to night, in many characteristic locations in and around the exciting and always exciting Red Light District, a neighborhood where jazz music from the United States arrived in the 1920s and 1930s and has never disappeared.

The 21st edition of Afrovibes Festival is from October 2 to 13, 2024.
