Friday Night Skate Amsterdam

On Friday, only if the streets are dry, we'll make a skate tour through Amsterdam of about 20 kilometers. Anyone can join free of charge. You have to be able to brake well.

Desired skills include: proper breaking, pauze, safety, blokkers, skate protection

If it turns out you cannot keep up or if you are not skilled enough, you will be asked to leave the tour and practice some more before you join again.

During every skate we take a shorter and a longer break. We land on a public square, with or without a terrace or shop and keep ourselves hydrated.

The volunteers do their best to make every skate tour safe. Despite of all our safety measures, you always skate at your own risk! The organization of the tour (Stichting Skate!) and the volunteers are not responsible for injuries or damages.

The use of a helmet, wrist-, elbow- and knee protection is strongly recommended! When days get shorter you may want to carry lights as well.
