The first store in Europe with dolls in all colours. Every child should have a doll that they can identify with. At Colourful Goodies they sell dolls in all colours and with different hairstyles, headscarves, vitiligo, albinism or Down syndrome. It is a store that promotes the idea that diversity is beautiful. The physical store in Amsterdam Noord has been closed since January 2025, but you can still order online!

Podium Mozaïek is a metropolitan theatre with a café-restaurant in Amsterdam West, located in the former Pniëlkerk on Bos en Lommerweg. The Podium Mozaïek program is for young and old and offers theatre, music, comedy, spoken word, storytelling, dance and all possible crossovers in between from home and abroad. There are meetings and exchanges between young and old, residents of West and beyond. Podium Mozaïek stimulates metropolitan offerings by supporting makers and utilizing its network.

Roze Filmdagen (Pink Film Days) will return in 2026 for its 29th edition at Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam. As the largest, longest-running and most successful LGBTQ+ film festival in the Netherlands, Roze Filmdagen once again offers a broad and inclusive range of films, documentaries, and short films, supplemented with in-depth talk shows with an LGBTQ+ context. A social and cultural-societal film festival returns to the LAB111 for a 5th edition in 2022. A unique film festival where (inter)national catchy 'human interest' documentaries and feature films are shown, with a broad fringe program consisting of various discussions, with panel members of social-societal organizations. The Humans of Film Festival is a niche in the Dutch film landscape.

An inclusive bar and creative hub. This cosy, fun and creative spin on the traditional Amsterdam pub is a safe space for everyone, especially people from the queer and BIPOC communities. They are located in the old Cool Cat building, diagonally opposite the KFC, between the Panda Bubble Tea Bar and Hunkemöller. You understand, between the fast food chicken, Instagram drinks and sexy lingerie, there is of course a great need for art and culture.

Hartjesdag will return to the Zeedijk in August 2024 with a new edition. The Hartjesdag is a multi-day festival on the Zeedijk, one of the oldest streets in Amsterdam. On the third Monday in August, Hartjesdag was the carnival for Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Men dressed like women, and women wore men's clothes.
