  • Step away from the bustle for a moment of calm in Sarphatipark, a green gem nestled right in De Pijp. Take a breather under the trees, or enjoy your market finds picnic-style on the grass. The park’s namesake, 19th-century physician and philanthropist Samuel Sarphati, is commemorated in a striking monument here. Once you've done that, stop by one of the many excellent coffee spots that orbit the park – from nook to Scandinavian Embassy and Badeta.
