A temporary forest on the Ring

On Friday, 21 June, Stichting De Gezonde Stad and designer Bruno Doedens will plant a temporary forest on the Ring A10: a Birthday Forest with 750 large and 7,500 small trees. It is a gift from residents and companies for the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. But it will not stop at one day. After the event, all trees and another 75,000 extra trees will be given a permanent place in and around the city. In this way, Amsterdam will gradually grow into a greener and healthier living environment.

The program

Pakhuis de Zwijger provides the program on the Ring. Follow a 'forest walk', listen to round table discussions or participate in a workshop. Everything revolves around learning, meeting and making plans together for a green future.
