Dementia glasses

When you get dementia, a lot changes. Not only for yourself but also for the people around you. It is often difficult to understand how drastic this condition is. That is why Markant organizes a special workshop in which you experience what it feels like to have (early) dementia. With VR glasses, you step into the daily life of someone with dementia. What is it like when you suddenly no longer understand ordinary things? And how do others react to you? This experience helps you better empathise with people with dementia and their caregiver's experience. After the VR experience, a discussion follows about the future of care and informal care in Amsterdam.
