Paint your own saucer - 6 years and over

In a ceramics kiln

At KLEILOKAAL you can take courses and workshops on making your own ceramics. There is also a separate studio if you're a bit more experienced. During 24 Hours Weesp, you can paint your own saucer during a special, brief workshop. You are working with raw ceramics. This is a kind of hardened clay that hasn't been baked in an oven just yet. You use glaze in 20 different colours to make your own piece of art, a special kind of pain used on ceramics. It's what gives ceramics that glossy look. By putting your creation in a kiln, a special ceramics oven, we make sure you can actually use your new saucer.

You are recommended to sign up for this workshop. You can only join without signing up if it turns out there are spaces left last-minute. The workshops run for about an hour, and they are suitable for ages 6 and over.

Practical information

The workshops take place at KLEILOKAAL, from 10:00 until 11:00, 11:30 until 12:30, and 13:00 until 14:00. The workshops are suitable for ages 6 and over. You can sign up through this link.
