A walk to yourself

Krystl entered the hit parade in the 1910s with carefree pop songs such as Golden Days, which also made it into the famous top 2000. Next year she will release an album on which she plays the handpan and sings her own Dutch songs, with the strikingly intimate Wandel naar jezelf as the first single. In addition to pop concerts, she now also gives sound baths with her singing bowls and gong. With this she has an interesting combination of ingredients for a yoga concert: the deep, dark sounds of the gong, the soft lightness of the handpan and her tender voice. 'I surrender to the void,' she sings, 'it can't be that difficult?'

What is a yoga concert?

The calm, meditative and at the same time intense postures of yin yoga give the opportunity to sink deeper into consciousness, beyond the thought patterns of the mind. On the yoga mat, physical sensations intertwine with the musical improvisations. Thoughts calm down, creating space for an open encounter: the live improvised music, the yoga postures and mystical poetry bundle together, interact and strengthen each other into a new experience.

Practical information

Door opens: 10:45 am.

Bring a mat, warm clothes and possibly a water bottle and props. There are a limited number of mats available and a blanket for everyone. The instructions and poetry are bilingual.
