Yielding to the void

After swaying into the charts with light-hearted pop songs, this year pop singer Krystl will launch a more intimate album, playing handpan and singing Dutch lyrics with a spiritual angle. Besides pop concerts she started giving sound journeys with her singing bowls and gong. In this way, she has put together some interesting ingredients for a yoga concert: the deep dark sound of the gong, the soft grace of the handpan and her tender voice. ‘I am yielding to the void,’ she sings, ‘it couldn��t be that hard?’  

What is a yoga concert?

The calm, meditative and at the same time intense postures of yin yoga give the opportunity to sink deeper into consciousness, beyond the thought patterns of the mind. On the yoga mat, physical sensations intertwine with the musical improvisations. Thoughts calm down, creating space for an open encounter: the live improvised music, the yoga postures and mystical poetry bundle together, interact and strengthen each other into a new experience.

Venue open: 10:45

Bring your mat if possible, warm clothes, and a water bottle and props if you want. There is a limited amount of mats available and a blanket for everyone. The class and poetry will be bilingual.
