The Amsterdam Popprijs is the band competition for Amsterdam bands in all styles. The competition gives bands the chance to present themselves to the public, media and music industry and to play on renowned stages in Amsterdam. For many participants, the Popprijs also proved to be a springboard to a successful career. Former winners include SANN!E, Cloud Cafe, Marathon, Ben Forte, WIES, TAPE TOY and Yori Swart.
